A unique meeting between two of the most profiled and well-known Danish electronic artists. Drummer and composer Emil de Waal and dj and composer Mikael Elkjær aka Spejderrobot began working together when Emil contacted Spejderrobot asking him to join his live tour. He accepted and instantly the join venture was a success - musically and personally.

At the venues the music was recorded and after the tour the two musicians continue their new partnership making this first album together – Emil de Waal+ Spejderrobot.

After two great reviews in British “The Wire”, Emil de Waal has toured intensevly for several years around Scandinavia, Europe, USA and in the Far East. Emil is working with international well renowned musicians and producers such as Andy Green (Velvet Underground, John Cale), Kato Hideki and Wayne Horvitz.

Spejderrobot [Danish word put together by the word for 'boy scout' and 'robot' playing on the contrast between the simple and the complex] is one the most promising European dj’s/producers and his album “Falder baglæns ind I igår” has received fantastic reviews and on many medias award-lists the album has been titled as one of the best album in 2008.
